YLI LEAD Leadership Panel

Each year LCL’s YLI LEAD Program introduces young girls to leading community women. The 2011 panel consisted of Jackie Covarrubias and LCL Summer Intern and student at Notre Dame University, Juanita Irizarry, Program Officer at The Chicago Community Trust, Olga M. Marroquin, Author of Liberating Mella, Eleanor Richards, Northern Trust Bank, Arabel Alva Rosales, J.D., CEO and President of AAR & Associates, . The panel spoke about their roles as leaders in the community, provided opportunities for youth to ask questions about becoming leading women in society and engaged in small group coaching sessions on how to present as a leading lady.
