LCL Strength Finders Workshop and Tea Party 2010

leadership programsAs a part of becoming leading women in society, LCL hosts an annual Leadership Workshop and Tea Party. The goal of the event is to not only create a space for diverse girls to learn about their talents but to present their strengths to society and to leverage their strengths/ talents in a way that fosters positive connections with other leading women.

The  2010 Strength Finders Workshop and Tea Party were highly engaging and well attended. The strength Finders workshop was hosted at DePaul University and facilitated by the amazing Claudette Roper. As a follow-up to the Strength Finders Workshop the 2010 LCL Tea Party was hosted at the home of Maria Carillo, PhD and LCL Board member. Both events were co-organized and well-attended by the women of Diaspora Spirit, a sister organization of LCL . The youth of Global Girls  were also with us.

The LCL Tea Party is an annual tradition for the organization. The first LCL Tea Party began in 2006 through the sponsorship of long time LCL supporter Ann M. Avery. The 2009 LCL Annual Tea Party was hosted by Mrs. Avery sponsored at the Ritz Carlton. For 2012, LCL will be hosting an Tea Party Fundraiser. Join our list-serve to keep abreast of upcoming events!
